What You'll Get
- $40 for two weeks of unlimited personal-training sessions ($165 value)
During the two weeks of unlimited personal-training sessions, your trainer may throw a few isometric movements into the fitness mix. Charles Atlas, the mail-order fitness king, made his famous transformation from 97-pound weakling to “The World’s Most Perfectly Developed Man” partly by standing stock-still. In his system of self-perfection, he often used moves that pitted muscle against muscle without moving the joints, which is also known as isometrics.
