In the tradition of CrossFit boxes everywhere, instructors invent a new regimen of exercises daily to challenge muscles in new and different ways. They use everything from weight lifting to gymnastics ring-swinging to get students into shape. Their boot camp runs in much the same fashion, though it typically doesn’t feature any heavy lifting. Instead, sessions focus on a great cardiovascular workout spliced with plyometric and resistance exercises. See the schedule for available class times.

PPF Crossfit and Bootcamp

Kids like to play in boxes because their imaginations can transform them into anything: a room in a castle, a spaceship, a grand operating theater. The coaches at PPF Crossfit and Bootcampcall their gym a box because they, too, take the largely empty space and use it however their imaginations see fit. They create new workouts every day, adding gymnastics together with weight lifting or spicing up classic wind sprints with swinging Russian kettlebells. This variety keeps muscles from adapting too well to any one exercise, forcing them to work hard and burn calories at all times.

Instructors lead more than just CrossFit's typical Workouts of the Day, though. They run obstacle courses that aim to push students both physically and mentally. They also teach kids' classes, which help tykes strengthen their bodies for sports and outdoor activities.
