Q:

I will need progressive lenses and would like to get frame less glasses. Would this Groupon cover this?

Ellen D.  asked on  Sep 30, 2013

A:

it will not cover the entire pair of glasses. We use Varilux progressives and the starting price is $225 for the progressive lenses. When you add options and the frame the price will be over the $225 so you will have a balance.

Q:

The $55 groupon says that you get $225 toward a pair of glasses.. Is there a minimum limit of how much the glasses need to be to use the credit or could I get a pair that cost less then $225 if that is what I like?

Bean H.  asked on  Sep 12, 2012

A:

There are no restrictions on the dollar amount you spend. The allowance is $225 so we add up the total for the glasses and subtract $225 to come up with the total. If your glasses cost less than the allowance then you don't incur any additional costs.

Q:

I currently wear contact lenses & after my eye exam would like to order a box of contacts from your location. I know the prescription that I currently wear.. is there an extra fee for the exam part?

Bean H.  asked on  Sep 12, 2012

A:

no the contact lens fitting is included in the deal. The $225 allowance is towards the purchase of a complete pair of glasses so no allowance towards the contacts. The fitting is at no additional charge.

Q:

What is a 20-minute eye exam and a 20-minute contact lens fitting? Do they make multi-focal contacts for people that need astigmatism lenses? Several years ago I tried both mono-vision and regular distant vision lenses for astigmatism (using reading glasses for close-up), but neither worked well.

Theresa  asked on  Sep 11, 2012

A:

yes we have multifocal lenses for people with astigmatism. The custom toric mulitfocal seem to work better. Normally the fitting charge in addtion to the exam is $200 for these lenses but the groupon will cover that but you will have to pay for the contacts.

Q:

May I buy both options since I need glasses and sunglasses? Also, are the sunglasses perscription?

Judith B.  asked on  Sep 11, 2012

A:

yes you may buy both. The sunglasses can be made into prescription sunglasses. You still get the same $$ amount off.

Q:

Does this apply to kid"s frame and lens?or both eye glasses and frame included in the $50 value?..and if I have a script , can I just bring it?Thanks!

Maria E.  asked on  Sep 10, 2012

A:

yes it does apply to kids frames and lenses. You can bring in the script. The total allowance is $225 towards glasses so it just depends on what you choose.
