The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that they charge you for addtional bread. Othwerwise the food is good.

What You'll Get

Eating a hearty steak makes a man more kingly than wearing a crown or banishing the dog to a small island in the South Atlantic. Get the royal treatment with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of gourmet steak and more at Prime Time Steakhouse. This Groupon is not valid toward the restaurant's all-you-can-eat prime rib on Mondays or the Houston Restaurant Week menu.

The menu at the Prime Time Steakhouse brims with savory delicacies to please any palate. Kick off consumption with scrumptious bacon-wrapped scallops piled on cucumber slices and served with cranberry horseradish ($18), or sample the signature beef ceviche, meaty bites served on a mélange of avocado, pearl onions, tomatoes, and cilantro ($12). Prime Time’s gourmet salads ($6–$8) come in a variety of garden varieties, each drizzled in homemade dressing straight from Houston's renowned dressing rivers. For the main event, die-hard protein fans will be unable to resist Prime Time’s scrumptious cuts of USDA Prime aged beef ($24–$40) served à la carte with au jus. Specialty combos such as the steak and shrimp ($36)—a 14-ounce new york strip topped with two applewood-bacon-wrapped shrimp and finished with a beurré blanc and accompanied by a baked potato—fill diners with a sense of a culinary harmony unseen since the California Raisins dominated the airwaves.

After cutting up a fine meal, patrons can cut a rug on Prime Time Steakhouse’s dance floor, located in its lounge. Dancers can shuffle all three of their feet in a semi- to fully coordinated fashion to the scheduled live entertainment. Reservations, such as wearing chain mail while wrestling a bear, are recommended but not required.
