Priola Body Shop
The exterior auto specialists at Priola Body Shop have kept vehicular exteriors looking sharp for more than 68 years. Back in 1939, Guido Marchelo (George) Priola launched Priola Motors in the Mission District before enterprising his new body shop venture across the street from the dealership in 1945. With a desire to keep the lineage of the family business in tact, Guido sold Priola Body Shop to his son, George, in 1967. Later, in 1974, George's son Rick relocated the business further up Mission, where it remained until 1988. In 1990, the shop transplanted to San Mateo, where Rick gussied up autos until July 2013. Today, the professionals at Priola Body Shop tend to vehicles with a variety of services, including framing, polishing, painting, welding, and plastic repair. Eager to keep the family business rolling, the Priolas opened a second location in San Carlos in June 2013.

About Schwerin Brake and Automotive
The mechanics at Schwerin Brake and Automotive have kept engines running smoothly from the days of the Model T. In 1926, William J. Schwerin opened the shop, soon passing the reins to his son, Wilfred, in 1956, and grandson, Bob, 20 years later. Though the shop left the Schwerin family’s care in 2011, the tradition of honest, dependable auto care remains under owners Oscar Valencia and Thom Moulton. Together, the duo carries out scheduled maintenances, such as oil changes and tire rotations, as well as quality repairs and any other automotive services, always taking care to inform customers of their vehicles’ needs and help break the news gently to overly sensitive cars.
