What You'll Get
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
_My services include sober companion work for executives in recovery as well as hourly counseling sessions and neurofeedback for adolescents & adults.
I am not here to talk about other therapists - I can tell you how I am different.
I am a pragmatic, polished, and high energy individual who will be devoted to you making the right choices. I believe that life is a series of decisions and our outcomes and direction are based on the way we think about ourselves and others in our world. I am very open minded, although I do have my opinions, I realize my job is to remain unbiased so you can make these decisions on your own and become someone who puts themselves first.
Being in therapy is about YOU setting better boundaries for yourself, so you do not overwhelm your day to day with meaningless activities. You are allowed to commit to as little time with me as needed - some therapists will ask you to commit to a # of sessions - this can cause undue stress. It’s definitely possible I may answer all your questions in just one session._
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
_In 2013, I met the then-First Lady’s inauguration stylist, who was just out of treatment for substance abuse. He felt deep regret about losing his job at the White House - this job & other fabulous opportunities were taken from him by drugs. He was very eager to get back to work. Being that I love fashion I was so inspired by his motivation I hired him as my own wardrobe stylist & shopping consultant. He was so thrilled to get back to work that I began to understand how much resilience is attributed to finding joy and purpose in one’s life.
It was through this relationship, I also realized that many people with substance use issues suffer because they don’t have the right people in their corner._
