What You'll Get
Football, or "pigskin," originally a pork byproduct, has become America's most popular pork-related pastime after recently topping baseball—a byproduct of sausage races. Discover all of football's delicious history with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get an adult or child admission (up to a $20 value) to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
With 83,000 square feet of exhibits and interactive displays, the Pro Football Hall of Fame preserves football’s lengthy history, honors outstanding players, and offers educational information about professional football’s past and present. Upon entrance, guests are greeted by 7-foot-tall Jim Thorpe, forever frozen in his bronze cocoon. After walking up a wide-spiraling stairway to the second level, visitors can learn about football’s first century in the exhibition rotunda, which features memorabilia and video displays. Wander like an Oz-lost Dorothy through a hall of heads in the Hall of Fame Gallery, where a curved wall is ensconced with busts of the famed inductees, and touch-screen kiosks give guests access to each individual’s biographical information. If you're on a mission to memorize all the greatest games of football history, start off in the Super Bowl Room, which documents all battles for the bowl to date.
After returning to the ground floor, guests find a special interactive area that includes a trivia challenge, a Madden EA Sports videogame display, and a throwing cage where both children and adults can complete passes and tackle referees. Stop in at the Tailgating Snack Bar for an eat to bite; the sheer volume of football artifacts may leave visitors hungry enough to consider swallowing the Joe Montana mouth guard on display.
- The hall does a great job of documenting all the greats through out the leagues history. – David L., Yelp
- All the displays are very well done. There is a lot of information packed in here. – Julie D., Yelp
- This is a worthwhile trip for any NFL fan. The HOF encompasses all forms of Pro Football including arena and other past leagues but is obviously dominated by NFL content. – danielz_23, TripAdvisor
