Unlike DVDs, VHS tapes take up a lot of room and can't be explained to children as "technology donuts." Make the switch with this Groupon.

ProImage Video’s technicians stop time in its tracks—or at least its effects on physical videotapes. Home movies captured on film degrade over time, diminishing their picture quality and potentially becoming unwatchable, should the tape break. Manning a bank of specialized equipment, the technicians transfer to DVD discs every second of footage from nine different types of tape sources, including VHS and 8mm. The discs do not deteriorate, which means that as the years pass, clients can share their videos with their children, their children’s children, and their children's children's robotic overlords. Should clients need to preserve an audio recording, technicians stand ready to transfer audio cassette recordings to CD.
