Q:

If you decide to go for the certification, how often during the week do you need to take the classes? Is there a certain period of time the 16-hours need to be completed by?

Stasia T.  asked on  Sep 7, 2012

A:

Hello Stasia, To answer your question in regards to a certain amount of time the 16 hours needs to be completed by the answer is No. That being said, we do feel you learn and retain the information better if you take the class in 4 consecutive weekdays, or 2 consecutive Saturdays. This is not mandatory however. Thank you for your question, cheers.

Q:

how do the hours work...can you do all day saturdays for 2 times or do i have to break up the hours more...and how many students will be in a session?

vickie l.  asked on  Sep 5, 2012

A:

Hello Vickie, Hope all is well and thank you for your question. Yes the Saturday class is held on 2 consecutive Saturdays from 10am to 6pm, but we are very flexible in working with our students, and If you had to break up the Saturdays due to a scheduling issue we can accomodate you if necessary. Normally the amount of students is between 12 and 16 per class on average. We hope this helps with your questions, Cheers.

Q:

Will i receive a License approved By the NJ Dept of Ed after taking this course?

Tahric C.  asked on  Sep 5, 2012

A:

Tahric C. thank you for the question, the answer is due to NJ state law, you will not receive a "license" to bartend because it is NOT required. And as a bartender for over 10 years its a question I often had asked of me lol. That being said in NJ there are laws relating to bartenders that are important to know, and obviously drink recipes and training which we go over before you would receive your certification. Cheers.
