Q:

I am interested in the zen package. Since it includes 2 massages and 1 Reflexology session, may I use split it up into 2-3 visits?

A:

Hi Isabel, Thank you for the questions. Unfortunately, no we cannot split up the Day of Zen. It is meant for a consecutive three hours of treatment. But trust me, you'll feel like heaven when you walk out. We start with a herbal foot soak, then we massage your feet and legs and hit all the reflex points on the bottom of your feet. Then we continue to an invigorating Thai massage, where the therapist will stretch and pull your muscles. Some clients who are uncomfortable with are choosing to change it to a Swedish style massage, which is more relaxing with the long strokes and kneading techniques (there is a nominal fee and we would need to know at the time of booking). Finally, towards the end of the treatment, the therapists steam these pouches that are filled with therapeutic Thai herbs. We press those on the body to help loosen muscles and also to help with detoxification. The three hour Day of Zen is definitely something to set aside time for and treat yourself!

Q:

Hi there, I'm interested to purchase this offer, however i am 6.5 months pregnant so is it ok to have this treatment? Is there any special method will be used for pregnant woman? Thanks

Patricia Y.  asked on  Jun 18, 2013

A:

Hi Patricia, Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, you would not be eligible to receive a Thai massage treatment. These massages are on a mat and you would need extra support. However, we can offer you our prenatal services, which the therapist would have you on a massage table with all the proper support needed. The is a price difference, and you would need to let us know when you make the booking. The price different for the one hour is $10, and if you decide to have the Three Hour Day of Zen, it would be a $20 upcharge. Namaste, Project Zen

Hi Ada, Thanks for the question. Yes, because the service is the same value, we can trade it out for that. Namaste, Project Zen

Q:

I have had two back surgeries during the past year for a nerve compression and spinal stenosis..I had massage for years..Am not sure what I can take..although miss the relaxation. Of head, neck shoulders, legs, full body Swedish etc.. I see to have Thai, shiatsu, reiki, reflexology...all styles..So have much experience with body work as a relaxation tool..even have my own earth craft table here and music and candles with a private area set up in my home..I see this asa Groupon but wonder if I am an appropriate client.,..and do you ever have folks that for additional charge do home visits if not too far..I live on Presidio Avenue in San Feancisco. Thank you..Robin Hammerman

Hi Robin, Unfortunately, we do not provide house calls. I understand the convenience of having someone come to your home, but it's not a service we provide. We hope that you can visit us at our location in North Beach. Namaste, Project Zen
