Yes, I would definitely recommend them! I know the scheduling was very tight during the timeframe that I choose for regular patients (right after work), but Proper Balance was able to accommodate me with my Groupon, and was also provide the masseuse who someone recommended to me. Chad (the masseuse) did a fantastic job, very professional all the way around with Proper Balance! Maureen

It was weird and let me tell you why. First, I received a text confirming my apt and the doctor I'd be seeing the next day. When I checked in, the receptionist said that my apt was with someone else and that the doctor would see me after. Ok, fine. The massage therapist took me to a room and the intro consisted of, ":any particular areas to work on?" "ok" and closed the door. Now, I've had massages before but if I hadn't I wouldn't have known what to do/where to go. So I undress and lay face up on the table. When she comes in she goes, "OH! Well I was planning on your back first" Ok, it's not a problem, I'll just turn around, but maybe next time say, get on the bed face down. Then, during the massage, she talked more than I was expecting..."you said you work a desk job? yeah, I'm familiar" "you must be right handed" "are you vegetarian" etc. Now, don't get me wrong, she was very nice, but that wasn't the experience I was going after. There were points that the pressure was too much and sometimes I'd cringe, but it was my fault for not saying anything at the time. The massage ended, I had a consultation with the dr, and then left. Massage was OK, experience left more to be desired.
