Treat your gastrointestinal tract to a tasty glass of richly blended healthlisciousness. Today's side deal gets you four drinks or wholesome bowls from Protein Bar for $10, a $24 value. A proper breakfast of fruit, grain, and protein will help you discover that hidden superpower that's been lying dormant under a pile of doughnuts and danishes.
Matt Matros, Protein Bar's founder, turned his life around when he lost 60 pounds through exercise and a high-protein diet. Now he's spreading the gospel with his sleek new shop across from that tower, serving up blended drinks of tea, fruit, and milk, blasted with protein, for $5.15 before tax.
Check out the menu for high-protein concoctions such as the Millennium Perk (chocolate protein, espresso protein, choice of milk, and house-made cocoa malt), the South Acai'd (vanilla protein, choice of yogurt, acai berry, or banana), or the Red Line (vanilla protein, choice of milk, strawberries, or banana). Or opt for one of PB's signature bowls of goodnessness, ranging in price from $3.95 to $5.85, such as Quinoa Feel It (steel-cut oats with vanilla protein, choice of milk, low-cal brown sugar, sugar-free maple syrup, or cinnamon with fresh fruit), One El of An Oatmeal (steel-cut oats with chocolate protein, choice of milk, low-cal brown sugar, or cinnamon topped with fruit), or Crackberry (granola with your choice of yogurt and acai berry, topped with bananas). This deal lets you try four different drinks and bowls, or find a fave and stick with it over and over again.
