What You'll Get
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day; take a man fishing and he'll inundate you with tales about delicious fish he has been given. Enjoy outdoor tall tales with today's Groupon: for $89, you get a four-hour fishing trip from Puget Sound Sports Fishing in Edmonds (a $180 value).
For more than 30 years, Murphy Pierson of Puget Sound Sports Fishing has led year-round, saltwater-fishing excursions to help sport enthusiasts' sight, hook, and catch trophy-worthy fish. Cast a line into the Edmonds-nestled waterways and attract the gaze of a powerful king salmon, coho, blackmouth, or loud-mouth bass released from his animatronic wall mount back into the wild. Fishing folk depart from Edmonds for more wavy surroundings and partake in fishing fun in morning or afternoon sessions. Though the $80 company deposit is waived for Groupon customers, all individuals must purchase a fishing license ($10) to safeguard against Game Warden penalties and stern reprimands from scuba diving watchmen.
Though Puget Sound Sports Fishing sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best value available.

About Puget Sound Sports Fishing
Northwest native Murphy Pierson draws on the experience of more than 30 years fishing Puget Sound’s waters to help aquatic enthusiasts charter their own saltwater-fishing excursions. Specializing in guided salmon tours, Murphy equips guests with bait, tackle, and fish whistles for year-round charters where they try their hand at reeling in king salmon and coho in the summer or blackmouth in the winter. During May and June, Puget Sound Sports Fishing’s morning and afternoon trips down the Edmonds-nestled waterways turn into bottom-fishing voyages for lingcod. While visitors rest at the end of their trip, Murphy and his crew get their hands dirty cleaning and bagging each catch for the water-weary fishers.
