The Fine Print
Inspired by the locals name for her car and her great cooking skills, Rosa Donna Rummo founded Pummarola, a small pizza and pasta restaurant in Naples, Italy in 1968. After two decades of success feeding customers to their content, she unfortunately passed, as did the name.
Over 40 years later, fond of their memories of their "Nonna" and her small pizzeria, her four grandchildren decided to restore the legacy of Pummarola. Recreating the ambience of the original restaurant was no small task, they obtained many of the memorabilia and cooking utensils Rosa used herself including her old Fiat 500, pasta machines, and the like. All these memories are on display at the new Pummarola.
