About Pure Restaurant & Lounge
With its dazzling decor, feng shui layout, and Asian fusion cuisine that is handcrafted with locally harvested, organic ingredients, it's hard not to be impressed by Pure Restaurant & Lounge. Upon arrival, diners walk though double-glass doors into a cozy foyer, where a smiling Buddha sits serenely by the burbling cascade of an indoor waterfall.
After being greeted by the hostess, guests are shown through the lounge area to the sushi bar and dining room or they head to the bar, where dangling red chandeliers illuminate hardwood floors and Asian artwork. The bar area's deep red walls also feature a giant re-creation of the iconic print The Creation of Adam, which can be seen on the Sistine Chapel and on art students' lists of Things to Talk About Loudly in Public.
Once diners take in all of the 7,000-square-foot restaurant's trappings, they turn their focus to the menu of Pan-Asian American fusion cuisine with a bit of French flair. The chefs rely on seasonal and organic ingredients from local vendors, such as the nearby Cuttler Farm, to create their dishes. These range from fresh sashimi and sushi to crispy duck with jasmine rice and miso-braised short ribs.
