Hello Rhonda, this procedure is not at all painful, it is actually very relaxing. Therefore we have no need for pain medication or numbing. Even the most sensitive clients enjoy it very much.

Q:

Is this a peel or a laser treatment? can this be used if you have a pacemaker?

Elizabeth M.  asked on  Jul 18, 2013

A:

It is bio-identical current, ultrasound, optional photon LED light therapy combined with chemical free organic antioxidant products and glycolic. It can be modified to be safe to use with a pace-maker.

Q:

How long does it last

Stephanie M.  asked on  Jul 19, 2013

A:

Hello Stephanie, results are progressive with each treatment (meaning each treatment builds on the one before) and increase in collagen production and muscle denseness are permanent, however, most people need to go through several treatments in close intervals initially to get a dramatic lift, after which a maintenance is every 4 to 6 weeks.

Q:

I had a facelift in 2007 which included my neck. My facelift came out just fine but my neck still has wrinkles. The plastic surgeon told me that I was 65 at the time he did surgery and that my neck wrinkles did not come out because I should have had procedure done when I was in my fifties prior when I was younger so when he did my procedures in 2007 wrinkles whould hae come out at that time. Anyway I am not going to have any more plactic surgery beccause now I am 71 years old and just want my wrinkles gone. What can you do for me?

Lynda M.  asked on  Jul 19, 2013

A:

Hello Lynda, it sounds like you are a very good candidate for this procedure. It tightens muscles by what we call muscle re-education (somewhat like when you go to the gym) and uses ultrasound to increase ATP production - the precursor to collagen and elastin, which are the two ingredients your skin needs to be plump, tight and wrinkle free. We always include the neck and are able to customize your treatment by focusing on your neck. You should see very good results as the skin on the neck is thin and reacts quickly.

Q:

Approximately how many treatments and how often does an average person need to get the ultimate result before the maintanence treatments every 4-6 weeks start?

Ebru C.  asked on  Jul 21, 2013

A:

Hello Ebru, it depends on the condition of your skin. Some clients get satisfactory results by just coming in once per month to start with, however - it's like exercise or diet - the more you do it the better the results. For dramatic change in your appearance, we usually recommend somewhere between 6 and 20 treatments once or twice per week.

Q:

What is included in the cost of this groupon? Is it multiple treatments or just one session? In the buy multiple option, would that be multiples sessions for the same person?

Tari R.  asked on  Jul 20, 2013

A:

Hello Tari, you have the option of buying 1, 2 or 3 treatments - which should all be used by the same person, as this is a system that works best if done repeatedly.

Q:

Are you open on weekends? Do you need to take time off work? And does it tighten skin under chin?

Shannon D.  asked on  Jul 20, 2013

A:

Hello Shannon, we are open on Saturdays and if necessary we will come in on a Sunday by appointment. There is absolutely no down-time or pain involved, so you don't need time off work and it does work very well on jowls, around the mouth and under the chin. See before-and-after pictures of our friend/client Pam at www.derMEsonic.com.

Lynda M.  asked on  Jul 19, 2013

A:

Hello Lynda, If you are concerned about trying anything new, it would be a good idea to come in for a consultation with Dr. Yoie and at that point we can give you a realistic idea of what you can expect.
