What You'll Get
Spooky is the most neglected of the five basic human emotions, the other four of which are joy, sorrow, grouchy, and wet. Get horror glands pumping with today’s Groupon: for $15, you get a VIP pass (a $28 value) to Pure Terror ScreamPark in Chester. This Groupon expires at the end of October. It is valid every day except Saturday, October 23; Saturday, October 30; and Sunday, October 31.
Voted one of America's top-ten scream parks, Pure Terror horrifies hordes with four attractions. With a VIP pass, you'll skip lines and enjoy carte-blanche access to The Butcher Shop, Terror in the Dark, Trail of Terror and House of Terror, and Pat Boone's solarium. The Butcher Shop lures visitors into a macabre meat case managed by a blood-splattered butcher. In Terror in the Dark, you'll enter into a pitch-black, spinning tunnel where surprise shocks and lurking creatures scare the lint out of your bellybutton. Trail of Terror leads you on a tortuous path over bridges, through tunnels, and into caves filled with actors reading scenes from episodes of Dallas. The creepy culmination comes in House of Terror, where the power metal sounds of Charred Walls of the Damned assault your ears and a residency of monsters, freaks, and ghouls cordially invites you in for tea and finger sandwiches.
Pure Terror centers on the nine-acre property of The Castle Fun Center in Chester. For an additional charge, visitors can find refreshments at Jester's Restaurant & Pub or enjoy thrills such as go-karts and mini golf. The park is recommended for adults and teens, but children may be admitted at their parents' discretion. Trail of Terror is subject to closure in the event of storms or hot Gatorade rains.

About Pure Terror ScreamPark
It may seem like there's no better way to explore Monroe's Museum Village than on a walking history tour. But there are a few catches—namely deranged clowns, the undead, and a few dozen dismembered bodies. Courtesy of a Hollywood special-effects team, Pure Terror ScreamPark offers up lifelike horror, all beginning at a historically haunted house.
From there, the Trail of Terror winds through dark woods where grotesqueries wait in every shadow—and the end of the trail is only the beginning. Six additional indoor and outdoor haunted attractions wait beyond the trail's exit, treating attendees to an eclectic sampling of fear. The Crypt send visitors through the underworld of the deal, Terror Under The Big Top contains a horrifying crew of killer clowns. And then there's the Terror In The Dark, which plunges those who enter into complete darkness, with unknown terrors lurking in the blackness. Naturally, Pure Terror ScreamPark recommends that children stay home.
