Starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday evenings in late June through August, plus bonus dates July 4 & 5, up to 60 adults and kids board the Queen Mary to embark on the Fireworks summer family fishing cruise. The crew helps guests learn their way around provided fishing rods and bait, then turns them loose to hook fish that may include bluefish, striper, and fluke. To top off the evening, everyone gathers on the deck for a fireworks display. The cruise ends at 9:30 p.m. <p>
Queen Mary, a boat with cream-colored walls and wood accents, embarks on fishing cruises from the dock at Spike's Fish Market & Restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach. Adults and children of all levels experience levels cast lines for bonito, albacore, and other fish with the help of a US Coast Guard–certified crew. For an additional fee, crew members will clean and filet fish. And on some nights, fireworks shows light up the sky and cast colorful reflections over the water.
