About PUSH Cycling Studio
Tammy Block and Janine Hartsook designed their first gym together in a high school entrepreneurship class. It was called Exerfit, and though it was purely a class exercise, it set something real in motion. Years later, they reunited as college graduates to open a more specialized gym: PUSH Cycling Studio, a boutique studio devoted exclusively to spinning, and one of the first cycling studios in Airdrie.
Per the gym's name, the house instructors, called motivators, push clients to new heights of fitness on one of their 26 spinning bikes. This applies whether they're leading the Push Power class, which builds cardio strength, or Push HIIT, focused on short bursts of intense work. Even in workouts that incorporate elements of soothing yoga and Pilates, the team encourages students to give their all, assisted by the beats thumping over the custom sound system. PUSH Cycling Studio gives back to the community by hosting charity rides, and also offers themed classes and other special events like "Ride N' Wine."
