In both kickboxing and boot-camp classes, certified instructors lead groups of students through one-hour sessions of high-intensity exercise routines designed to torch fat and tone muscles.
Alternatively, during personal-training sessions, trainers meet with their clients for an initial consultation to evaluate current fitness levels, before designing workout routines tailored to individual goals—whether they be improved muscular strength, weight loss, or increased energy. During each session, trainers supervise workouts, teaching the habits that will form the basis of effective exercise while providing motivation and humming the theme from Rocky to induce montages.
