Q&A with Jennifer Walz, Owner and Licensed Acupuncturist

When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?

I became a licensed massage therapist in 1986, and was introduced to acupuncture by my Shiatsu teacher, who was a licensed acupuncturist. After observing him work and obtain amazing results, I knew becoming an acupuncturist was the next step.

Do you or your staff have any special certifications or degrees?

_I am certified in the NADA technique (AcuDetox), NAET (allergy elimination), and reiki, and have multiple certifications in pregnancy massage.

What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?

"Qi" is pronounced "chee," and is the Chinese word for "life force energy." [We have] many things to choose from at Qi Bar Acupuncture Center to raise and move your qi._

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?

We love creating a comfortable, relaxing environment and helping you to feel at home.
