Golf is a sport of physical precision and aerial dynamics, won and lost upon the pendulum of your swing. Brush up on your golf physics with today’s Groupon. For $20, you get 18 holes of golf with a cart at Quail Chase Golf Course (an up to $46 value). This Groupon is valid for any time Monday through Friday, as well as after 12 p.m. on weekends. Golf combines the complex intermingling of physics and coordination to a level no exoskeleton-toting evil genius has been able to harness at his underground volcano lair. Designed by renowned golf-course architect David Pfaff, Quail Chase Golf Course boasts a picturesque terrain spotted with lush trees, kempt greens, and pop-out shooting-range targets. As Louisville’s only 27-hole championship regulation course, Quail Chase challenges golfers with water hazards, sculpted white-sand bunkers, and an expertly planned layout devoted to elevating the level of play.
Golf with friends is the best kind of bonding. There's nothing like being out in the open air, hearing the wind blow through the beautiful old trees lining the well-groomed fairways, and refusing to grant your compadres mulligans. The satisfaction of a well-played hole is amplified by the sadistic enjoyment you get from your partner's three-shot spectacle in the woodsy rough. Experience the finer things in life thanks to today’s Groupon. Visit Quail Chase Golf Course online or call ahead for tee times.
- This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses have water hazards and many trees. The Gambel-West and East Course was built on hilly terrain and water comes into play on four holes. The Mearns-East and South Course has three water hazards. This combination, beginning with the East Course, was ranked in 1994 by "Business First," as having the hardest starting hole in Kentucky. The Bob White-South and West Course has water hazards on two holes. The South Course has four holes with out-of bounds stakes lining its tree-lined fairways.
- Course layout is spectacular -- every hole is a beautiful vista in front of you. Fairways were Bermuda and in great shape, greens hold and challenge you to read them correctly. Great time, and the price is right. – Yahoo! Contributor, 7/10/07
- …greens and fairways were in exceptional shape, staff [sic] and course players were very friendly. – Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/06
- I played the east and west courses in early November and was thoroughly impressed with the course maintenance and playability...the greens were like glass- lightning fast. – slicingfool, GolfLink.com
