About Quattro Gastronomia Italiana
Owned by the acclaimed KNR Hospitality Group, Quattro Gastronomia Italiana's 170-seat indoor/outdoor eatery has become a staple for locals and savvy visitors. The twin chefs of Nicola and Fabrizio Carro, born and raised in Alessandria, Italy, transport the culinary traditions of Northern Italy to bustling Lincoln Road, with dishes like fontina ravioli drizzled with white truffle oil or braised beef ravioli with Piedmontese sauce. But culinary traditions aren't the only thing they've imported: their dedication to quality takes the form of daily, in-house made pasta from an imported La Monferrina machine, and many ingredients used are shipped straight from their homeland.
Beneath the custom Murano chandeliers and surrounded in the warm, tawny browns and deep, pine greens of the space, guests can also peruse a wine list as comprehensive as the menu, which offers bottles that represent each of Italy's unique varietals and 20 wine-growing regions. A large, Calacatta marble bar trimmed with Makassar ebony is not only the room's grand focal point, but is also reportedly the very spot where the "Marco Polo walks into a bar" joke originated.
