Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant
In 2012, CBS Atlanta named Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant one of the top three Ethiopian eateries in the city, especially praising its "authentic dining atmosphere." In a space that combines traditional tables and carvings with funky lounge decor that would fit right into modern cosmopolitan African, Queen of Sheba serves a menu that goes beyond the basics. There are spicy lamb and chicken-leg wots, but also rarer authentic dishes such as tripe, liver, and the Sheba's Kifto, an Ethiopian analogue to steak tartare. Then there are the thoroughly modern options, such as a pair of vegetarian tibs entrees with mushrooms or tofu standing in for meat.
