Q&A with Leron Mollon, Owner of RAGE Bootcamp
What inspired you to start or run this business?
I have been doing CrossFit for a couple [of] years now, and my business partner Jonathan has been personal training for a little longer. We have been friends since we were kids, and realized that we both have a passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle. With our knowledge and experience combined, we knew that we could benefit others who are looking for direction toward fitness goals. Running the Boot Camp doesn't feel like work because we love it.
What makes your business stand out?
Our combination of strength, agility, [and] cardio workouts is tailored in a way that keeps everybody involved and moving, unlike your traditional everybody-stand-in-a-row-and-follow-me workouts. Also, our mix of timed and max reps brings something new [for] members who were just working out alone or with a personal trainer.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
The customers are always excited at the insight we give them. The best reaction [was from] this client [who] was in tears the other day. She has struggled with her weight for some time, and she was glad to have coaches and group of people to encourage [her] to keep it up. She lost 20 pounds in the first month.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part is designing the workouts for the day. We have been running for sometime now and have not repeated one workout.
