R&R Surf was founded by a Navy‑rooted family with more than 46 years of combined experience on the water. Their global travels, driven by duty and curiosity, eventually led them back to San Diego, where they set out to channel a lifelong passion for the ocean into eco‑friendly rentals and high‑energy water attractions. Each eFoil session follows a clear format: on‑land instruction, transport by boat to the riding area, and supervised time on the water. This approach ensures participants understand equipment handling, safety procedures, and riding techniques before practicing on their own board.

Participants must be at least 12 years old to join the eFoil lessons. If you are under 18, you have to be accompanied by an adult.

Do I need to have experience with eFoils or Jetboards?

No prior experience is necessary for eFoil lessons. Expert instructors will guide you through every step of the process. However, participants should be comfortable in the water and in good physical condition.

How long do the eFoil and Jetboard lessons last?

The lessons are approximately 2.5 hours long. This includes on-land instruction, a scenic boat ride to the riding spot, and one full hour of ride time.
