The restaurant's modern leanings are on full display in dishes such as the gobi lassoni—lentil-battered, lightly fried florets of cauliflower drizzled with chili-garlic sauce and served on toothpicks. This inventive appetizer joins a selection of entrees featuring more than a dozen curries as well as tandoori-baked salmon and vegetarian paneer makhani.
The cocktails are similarly lavish. The spicy Bollywood Lights, for instance, blends tequila with lime, green chili, cilantro, and grapefruit bitters for a veritable explosion of flavor. And if you're looking for more sensory delights, just look up. The restaurant's ceiling is a massive dome held up by ornate columns, and it features an elaborate black-and-white flower pattern that's hard to ignore (not that you'd want to).
