There are few places more strange than a New York Subway train. Which is exactly where award-winning playwright Robin Rice sets Women w/o Walls, her imaginative drama based on the myth of Charon the ferryman on the River Styx and inspired by Dante's Inferno. When Pamela, a sheltered woman from the Upper East Side, steps onto her first ride, she realizes all is not as it seems. Joined by a train-ful of colorful characters, their journey takes them from the underworld of NYC to the Underworld of myth and legend. See Broads' Word Theatre's sophomore production, the world premiere of Women w/o Walls starring Kristin Carey (Scandal), at Lounge Theatre in Los Angeles.
Running time is 85 minutes.
