Each diner receives one thali, or platter, of Gujarati-style Indian food. Each traditional vegetarian platter includes three curries, dal, rice, four chapatis, pickles, farsan (Indian snacks), papad (thin, crisp wafers), freshly-made chilled buttermilk, and a dessert.
Inside the 3,000-square-foot Plano complex that's home to India Bazaar—a marketplace full of imported Indian goods—resides Rajula's Kitchen. At the eatery, chefs take many of those same products and transform them into vegetarian Indian dishes. They whip up a variety of fresh, plant-based eats, including several organic options Rajula's can even cater to those following strict no onion no garlic vegetarian diets.
