What You'll Get
A city is a place of tremendous variety, usually constructed upon rock ‘n’ roll. Today's Groupon gives you the opportunity to explore the city of Raleigh in fine pedicab style. For $49, you get a guided historical tour for up to four adults and two children from Raleigh Rickshaw (a $98 value). This deal gets you two simultaneous rickshaws. Each rickshaw holds up to two adults and one child, so two rickshaws are necessary for a family or group of four fully grown people to enjoy the tour together.
Once the logistics are squared away, Raleigh Rickshaw takes passengers on a tour of the City of Oaks via a pedal cab, or "rickshaw." Tours begin in front of the Raleigh City Museum on Fayetteville Street and last approximately one hour. During these 60 minutes, passengers will be pedaled through more than 200 years of history, as Raleigh Rickshaw's cabbies pull parties past a plethora of points of interest. Sights on the tour include the historic City Market, founded in 1914; "Grog Alley," the saloon-centric strip of town noted for its bar fights and gambling; and the birthplace of Andrew Johnson, the famous "Angry President." It's an informative introduction to North Carolina's capital city for out-of-towners, as well as an exciting new way for longtime residents to see the city where they live, work, and bake soufflés.
Raleigh Rickshaw's tours are also beneficial to the environment, as only human energy is exerted, and exhaust is limited to cabbie sweat. So round up the other three members of your ABBA tribute act, and call Raleigh Rickshaw two days in advance to schedule your rockin' rickshaw romp 'round Raleigh.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Raleigh Rickshaw will respond as quickly as possible.
