Ravenchase Adventures' Cupid Sucks Treasure Hunt sends holiday-spurning swashbucklers careening through the Inner Harbor on a three-hour race on foot to crack codes. After registering at least 24 hours beforehand, teams of 2–8 begin their sleuthing outside the Holocaust Memorial at the corner of East Lombard Street and South Gay Street . Sleuths then search out puzzle masters who equip guests with handmade maps, gadgets, and clues before releasing the questers into the urban wild. Solve a series of riddles and puzzles using decoders and jumbo-size magnifying glasses while racing through historic sites and parks. The final clue leads brazen Sherlocks to a destination shrouded in secrecy and stocked with refreshments and bragging rights. To the first three triumphant teams announced at 6 p.m., Ravenchase Adventures bestows "fabulously tacky prizes" and packs of robotic bloodhounds for sniffing out the next mystery. Parking is limited and cannot be reserved, so be sure to allow plenty of time to find a spot.
