Putting that new Christmas camera to good use, in the seven-hour beginners’ workshop, photographer Ray Bulson teaches up to 75 students the basic concepts of digital photography, combining classroom instruction with hands-on exercises that use digital SLR cameras. The one-day workshop will be held Saturday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Edward Lee Gorsuch Commons.
