About This Deal
- What’s included: Self-guided, Augmented Reality tour on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays. Tour duration: 45-60 minutes (includes exhibition hall, garden area, and the house).
- Visitors can explore the Townsend family home while learning about the lives of the family itself as well as the people who served them. Some of the main topics also include the Revolutionary War and the Culper Spy Ring. During the tour, customers can also admire newly restored servants’ quarters and period-accurate rooms from the 18th and 19th centuries.
About Raynham Hall Museum
Raynham Hall Museum, considered a local and national landmark, gives its visitors an opportunity to admire and explore the 300-year-old home of the Townsend family–a group of merchants and patriots engaged in espionage and their domestic life as well as decorative arts. The museum accommodates large amounts of students who want to learn more about the Revolutionary War and the history of the area.
