Recologie owners Maria Cisneros and Judith Weber understand the value of connecting people with the artisans who produce their goods. In that spirit, they started Recologie as a gallery-style space where people could shop for Fair Trade products created by artists from both around the region and globally. They have recently expanded the shop's definition of sustainability by adding a restaurant and new partner, Chef Dianne de la Veaux, that serves vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Using fresh ingredients, their team of chefs creates seasonal dishes such as eggplant braciole and asparagus and gruyere quesadillas. Weekend brunch introduces morning favorites including gluten-free buckwheat pancakes with fresh blueberries and maple syrup.
