Recovering Couch Potato Fitness
Obese, out of shape, and feeling like a geriatric just a couple years into his 30s, Cory Claeys couldn't even run a whole mile. But through a strict diet and a never-say-die attitude toward running, he was able to shed almost 40% of his bodyweight and eventually complete a marathon—and another, and another, to the point where another mile might as well be a stroll to the fridge.
Cory has his own inspirational story, but through the founding of Recovering Couch Potato Fitness, he's helped others write many true fairy tales of their own. Along with Sheryl Emery (who's considered herself a fitness junkie for more than 20 years), Cory gets men and women into shape through personal training, fitness boot camps, and customized running programs that help people prep for marathons and learn the metric system in order to run a 5K without overshooting the finish line.
