More Questions and Answers

Q:

I heard there's an 18% gratuity automatically added and taxes are to paid on the $99.00 original price amount, so im expected to pay an additional average amount of $30. Is this true?

Glenda B.  asked on  Feb 14, 2013

A:

Groupons do not include tax or gratuity in the purchase price. If they are included, it will be specifically mentioned in the Fine Print of the deal. Otherwise, tax is collected when redeeming the Groupon and is dependent on the area's local tax laws.
