Choose from Three Options

Each weekend session, limited to 50 people each counts as 12.5 hours of study toward a Yoga Alliance 200-hour registered-yoga-teacher certification or continuing-education hours. Each participant will receive a syllabus and a certificate of completion, signed by Bethany Vaughn, who holds the highest available certification from the Yoga Alliance, an E-RYT 500.
Weekend one, available December 7 and 8, will teach trainees standing poses and alignment, how to teach Sun Salutations A & B, a lecture on anatomy and how the skeletal system is used to teach, and an introduction to the Yoga Sutras and energetic qualities of the chakras.
The second weekend, available January 11 and 12, teaches back-bending poses and twists with a focus on extension and hyperextension, sun salutations and inversions, and anatomy and physiology of the muscular system as it is used to teach yoga. Discussion will focus on Yamas and Niyamas and light energy work.
Weekend three, available January 25 and 26, teaches deep floor and restorative poses and anatomy and physiology of the joints and endocrine systems. Discussion will continue with a focus on modern living meeting ancient art.
Saturday classes run from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and then 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday's, classes go from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and then from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Red Hot Yoga
A household name on the Atlanta yoga circuit, Bethany Vaughn brings 15 years of experience and credibility to Red Hot Yoga. Bethany centers both of her studios on hot and power yoga styles that are performed in a 100-105-degree setting. Two levels of hot and power classes cater to practitioners of all abilities, helping those new to the practice to link the flowing poses with conscious breathing techniques while challenging more experienced stretchers with advanced postures.
