Tapas, like books, cars, and husbands, are designed to be shared with those closest to you. Indulge in the best of Spanish-style sharing with today’s Groupon to Reds Restaurant in Encino. Choose between the following options:

  • For $25, you get a tapas sampler (up to a $56 total value) that includes the following items:
  • Two tapas dishes (up to a $12 value each)
  • One bottle of house sangiovese or house chardonnay (a $32 value)
  • For $10, you get $20 worth of anything on the menu.<p>

Reds Restaurant, a classic Spanish tapas bar, pairs small plates and eclectic entrees with an extensive wine list culled from across the globe. Each small-portioned tapas platter encourages sharing, as diners nibble their way through spicy sausage crostinis or bacon-wrapped dates inscribed with suggested talking points. The petit plates arrive tableside in hot or cold iterations, and range from dry-cured olives swaddled in serrano ham to seared scallops and shrimp sidekicked with mashed potatoes. In between tapas flights, glasses of house sangiovese or chardonnay top off goblets until the bottle is empty and ready for use as a carport.

Upon arriving at Reds Restaurant, diners can valet their car for two hours free of charge, then settle into intimate wooden tables or sidle up to the jet-black bar. Artworks trims the walls and, above the bar, representative bottles from the wine list unite to a form a congress tasked with voting on any menu alteration.

Reds Restaurant

Red isn't the only color on Reds Restaurant's wine list, which presents bottles that speak multiple languages and come and go as they please. While sipping vinos from California, South America, and Italy, guests can peer past the black-hole-black bar straight into the open kitchen. There, the chefs will summon smoked-salmon farfalle, spam-fried rice, and duck confit into existence, and bring life to desserts such as The Brownie and pineapple upside-down cake. Dinner is the main feature at this wine-and-tapas shop, but a lunch menu attracts a midday crowd to the Encino Place Shopping Center's second floor from Tuesday to Friday every week.
