We offer riding lessons for ages 3- all the way through to adults.

Tiny Tot lessons are for our youngest riders (ages 3-7) and are 20 minutes of riding and 10 minutes of brushing and grooming.

Our private lessons for beginners are available to anyone 7 and over.

These lessons are 30 minutes of riding.

Riders must wear long pants and closed, toed shoes. Helmets are Provided. Helmets must be horseback riding helmets, You may not bring your own bike helmet. We have both indoor and outdoor facilities and lessons occur year-round.

About Redwing Farm LLC
Redwing Farm LLC is a family owned and run business. We specialize in the breeding, training, and care of American Saddlebred Horses as well as lessons for all ages and ability levels. Redwing Farm has been a well known name in the horse industry for the talented horses we have produced! We now open our expertise in lessons and training to you! We offer world class instruction for riders of all ages ability levels - whether you are 3 or 93 we can provide you with the horse experience of a life time! Our instructor Hilary Wilcox grew up on Redwing Farm, graduated Stephens College Equstrian program with a degree in Equestrian Business and Instruction, and has produced World and National Champion riders. We can’t wait to welcome you to our barn family! Our Instructor, Hilary Wilcox, is 3rd generation horse woman who has grown up in the horse industry. She graduated from Stephens College and has worked in some of the leading barns in the Saddlebred Industry. Hilary has coached many riders to world and national titles as well as having the honor of coaching the United States Saddle Seat Equitation team to two gold medals. Hilary loves to share the joy of horses with riders of all ages and ability levels - her love of teaching and experience make her one of stand out instructors in our industry. Redwing Farm is affiliated or a member of several different organizations for the safety, organization, and continuation of our sport. Please take a look at our membership and affiliations page to see them. All of our instructors are members of USEF and have taken the Safesport training as well as been background checked through our governing body the United States Equestrian Federation. Our owner Judith Werner is on the board at USEF and serves of several other committees and boards. Our Instructor Miss Hilary is on the board of the United Professional Horseman’s Association as well as serving on several other committees and boards. We feel very strongly that the safety, security, and well being of our riders is of the utmost importance and strive to be part of organizations that promote that.
