Inspired by northern California's magnificently gigantic trees, Redwood's chef and staff create a gastropub experience that's a little larger than life, too. The extensive drink menu, for instance, includes 24 fine wines available by the class, eight craft beers on tap, and 100 kinds of bottled beer in the fridges. Executive Chef M.J. Smith matches the variety of the drink selection with the diverse menu. The culinary team crafts gourmet bar snacks such as parmesan truffle fries or house-made hotdogs comprised of grilled duck. They shuck raw oysters and deliver them on the half-shell, and even their sandwiches feature ingredients such as braised veal.
