Q:

1. Why do you have to grow the hair out for two weeks if you just shave it before the procedure? 2. Is this type of laser less painful than others or the same?

Gretchen E.  asked on  Jun 21, 2013

A:

You grow out your hair for 2 weeks to let the hair follicle and shaft grow even though you shave the hair above the skin surface. Our laser is less painful than others because it has a built in air cooler attached to the laser, which dramatically reduces the feel of the laser.

Q:

Extra Charge of Numbing medicine??? Is it really painful?? Do most people use Numbing medicine??? How much extra??

Sherry B.  asked on  Jun 21, 2013

A:

Numbing cream is not necessary but some individuals prefer it. It's really depends on the individual pain tolerance and area of treatment. We charge $5 for a small, $10 for the med, $15 for large, and $20 for X-large.

Q:

2 questions 1st related to the above. 1st treatment or initial treatment hair has to grow for 2 weeks and then follow up hair grows for 6 weeks? xtra large area is only 1 area only not in combination right?

Sherry B.  asked on  Jun 18, 2013

A:

Yes, let your hair grow for at least 2 weeks before getting the 1st treatment. Then after your 1st treatment, wait between 6-8 weeks for incremental treatments. As for the extra large area, only 1 area is allowed; no combinations. Hope that helps.

Q:

Do you have to let the hair grow out for two weeks with this particular laser system? Thanks! :)

Julia J.  asked on  Jun 17, 2013

A:

Yes, it's ideal to have the hair grow out for at least 2 weeks for the 1st treatment. With this Groupon Deal, you have to let your hair grow out for at least 6 weeks before you can schedule your following appointments. Thank you!
