One of America's most famous and acclaimed playwrights, William Inge is best known for penning the Pulitzer Prize-winning Picnic, as well as Academy Award-winner Splendor in the Grass. Now, ReGroup Theatre Company shines a spotlight on Inge's lesser-known one-act plays with the New York premiere of A Complex Evening at the TBG Mainstage Theater. Focusing on the residents of an apartment complex, these mostly-lost short plays introduce characters who are oblivious to the world that exists beyond their walls. The one-acts range from slapstick to darkly suicidal. If you think you know Inge, come witness him at his rawest.
