What You'll Get
Acupuncture needles are different from sewing needles, in that they are much tinier and can't be used to attach patches of fake fur to a T-shirt. Feel the difference with this Groupon.
Choose from Four Options
- $20 for one private acupuncture session and 15-minute massage (an $80 value)
- $35 for two private acupuncture sessions and 15-minute massages (a $145 value)
- $50 for three private acupuncture sessions and 15-minute massages (a $210 value)
- $25 for two community acupuncture sessions (up to a $95 value)
The first private session (an $80 value) begins with a diagnostic exam and health-history consultation before the acupuncturist performs the treatment and 15-minute massage. Subsequent appointments (a $65 value each) include an acupuncture treatment and massage.
Community sessions operate on a sliding scale ($35–$55 for the initial appointment; $20–$40 for follow-ups). After a private health consultation, clients take their positions in the community room's comfortable recliners, joining their fellow patients for a shared treatment. The acupuncturist targets meridians on the forearms, hands, lower legs, feet, or head, making disrobing unnecessary.
Patients should not receive acupuncture treatments on an empty stomach and should avoid caffeine before their appointment.

About Relief Acupuncture
Fueled by a lifelong fascination with the herbal remedies of his ancestors, Robinson Gaviria— a public-health specialist with close ties to the community—embraces Eastern medicine. He shares his passion for holistic therapy in the form of acupuncture, an ancient Chinese practice that, according to the World Health Organization, has been shown in controlled trials to treat such maladies as stress and fatigue, headaches, nausea, pain, sciatica, Bell's palsy, digestive issues, and feelings of inferiority to porcupines. Robinson also performs other alternative treatments such as herbal therapy, homeopathy, moxibustion, cupping, and tui na massage.
