What You'll Get
According to Emily Post, napkins may only be used to cover laps, clean up spills, or signal the waiter via semaphore that your table has hit an iceberg. Master restaurant etiquette over a gourmet meal with today's Groupon: for $5, you get $10 worth of gourmet café fare and drinks at Relish in Clarksville.
At Relish, a colorful menu of fresh salads, homemade pizzas, gourmet pastas, and tasty add-ons lets creative nibblers dabble to their heart's content. Greek and chicken caesar salads ($7.95 each) wrestle for the chance to be served alongside a six-cheese treasure found inside the pasta egg purse ($9.95), and the chili-cheese pizza delivers a jackpot of homemade chili, cheddar, olives, and sour cream on a cornbread crust ($10.50/8"). Instead of hiding under a pile of watermelons and raiding a supermarket’s produce section overnight, non-carnivores can scarf a veggie delight pita with hummus, lettuce, tomato, and a tasty side ($6.95). Meanwhile, noodle lovers can gussy up macaroni with alfredo, red sauce, or Italian-herb oil ($9.95) and a skewer of shrimp ($3 extra). A six-pack of sauces and dips ($6.95)—including guacamole, olive oil, and marinara—invites diners to dunk and drizzle as the peach and cherry spritzers ($2.59) urge them to guzzle.
Never forgetting its humble deli beginnings, Relish makes most of its recipes from scratch even though it’s blossomed into a full-service eatery. Fresh, warm bread is delivered each morning, and a variety of homemade confections—from pies to flans to cupcakes—may be special-ordered from the bakery. The restaurant also serves up live music many Friday nights, sating visitors’ ear-candy cravings.

The diversity of Relish's offerings—from its dine-in menu of salads and sandwiches to its bakery treats —represents the eatery's evolution from a small deli to a full-blown restaurant. Those early diner favorites, such as tuna melts and meatball subs, still fill bellies alongside bread bowls full of hot pasta. On the bakery side, custom cakes, gourmet cupcakes, cookies, and cheesecakes line the counters or await pickup for a future event.
