Love is in the air this spring, as the Rembrandt Chamber Players bring the romantic art songs of Franz Schubert to Evanston's Nichols Concert Hall, via the vocal artistry of guest soprano Christine Brandes. The fine musicians of the Lincoln Trio are set to join the acclaimed ensemble to play a pair of works by Brahms, along with Loeffler's Two Rhapsodies for oboe, violin and piano, and the young winners of Rembrandt's 21st Annual High School Chamber Music Competition will reprise their prizewinning performances as well. Stick around after the show for a Wine & Conversation reception with the musicians, across the street at Vinic Wine Company.
