What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our Field Educators are not only experts in the backcountry, but also actively practicing clinicians in the front country. Whether it is critical care medicine, registered nursing on a specialized unit, or combat operations; we excel in showing you how to be prepared in the wilderness.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
For our WFA course, we provide everything except clothing. We ask that participants in this course be prepared for any weather as we will be in it. WFR courses have a small gear list that includes common items you would bring on a weekend backpacking trip. Again, proper attire is mandatory!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We strive to teach a brand of care that is far beyond anyone else. Anyone can teach CPR, or first aid, or how to grow a mustache. We take our experience, our clinical expertise, and our unwillingness to settle for good-enough; and we deliver a product that we would look for in a course.

What do you love most about your job?
RESAT operators and educators teach a brand far beyond others. We do this so that just one time, a graduate of our program, in the right place, uses what they have learned, and makes a difference. We love this. It makes everything worth it.
