Q:

Does this include the kayak and the gear, or do we rent that separately? And if so, how much is that to rent for the day?

Heather C.  asked on  May 28, 2012

A:

Hi Heather. The kayak and needed gear is included. You just need to bring a swimsuit, lunch, sunscreen and water.

Q:

Is there a way to capture the value of the Groupon offer, but on a different lesson combination? I've kayaked before and have a lot of experience on the river, but mostly with rafts and dories. I'm concerned the introductory session would be too basic, but need a bit of a refresher and rolling lessons. The 2-3 combo would be my first choice, using the Groupon for lesson 2 and the $29 discount off lesson 3. Is that possible?

David T.  asked on  May 27, 2012

A:

Hi David, Glad to hear you enjoy being on the river. Unfortunately this groupon is only for Lesson #1 Introduction to Kayaking. If it has been a long time since you have been in a kayak it could be a great refresher and trust me you will not be bored with my lively instructors.

Q:

When it says one person can use it over two days, does this mean it can be used for class 1 and 2 or a 2-day class? Thanks!

Lindsay B.  asked on  May 26, 2012

A:

Hi Lindsay, The Groupon was designed to give people an introduction to kayaking. It is only for Lesson #1 Introduction to Kayaking. The second option is if you and a friend want to take the class you can get a better deal if you buy two at once. Thank you and I can't wait to see you on the water!

Q:

The fine print says "Gratuity not Included". What is standard gratuity amount? Thanks.

Tim C.  asked on  May 26, 2012

A:

Hi Tim, There is no standard. If you have a great and want to reward the instructors please do. The lowest tip I ever got was a cookie and it was delicious.
