Choose Between Two Options
- $49 for a home firearm safety course for two ($85 value)
- $49 for a basic pistol shooting course for one ($98 value)
The home firearm-safety course takes place entirely in the classroom and is designed for beginners who may have just bought a firearm, or firearms owners who may have young children at home. Over the course of four lessons, they learn safe handling, identifying and unloading firearms, types of ammunition, and proper cleaning and storing.
The basic pistol shooting course lasts eight hours and takes place over a single day. Instructors focus on the basic skills needed to own and operate a pistol, including time on the range to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; and shooting from the bench rest position, among many other skills. Participants receive class materials, take a basic exam, and receive a course completion certificate.

Everything about Renegade Firearms Training comes down to two men: Joe Bison and Joel Brillo. The company's co-founders and firearms instructors have both received expert rifle and pistol qualification awards, and both can list several NRA certifications on their resumes (eight for Joe; six for Joel). Their expertise with firearms should come as no surprise, since Joel has served in the US Army, and Joe in the US Marine Corps.
