What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I opened RepairXperts because I saw a need that wasn’t being filled: a customer-centric place that customers could visit to receive an affordable, friendly alternative to purchasing a brand new phone. Inspiration struck when I first repaired a few co-workers’ phones and saw how happy it made them!
What do you love most about your job?
I love making my customers happy. I simply cannot tell you how satisfied I am when a customer picks up his or her phone and knows he or she got the best deal, and that we back up our work. I love fixing a college student’s laptop in the middle of finals week and seeing his or her face glow! I do it for the smiles!
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
I’m not sure how to answer this considering so many of my customers leave satisfied and ready to hug me. I often hear “Wow that was fast!” and “You are a lifesaver!” My customers are generally very happy since they are usually paying 15–20% of what they would pay to replace their devices.
