the staff are friendly. a great place to learn to x-country ski. the address is a bit confusing it leads you to a residential area. go to lot 5 in the village instead

In the wintertime Lost Lake is transformed into a mecca of winter trails, with 25 kilometres for cross country skiing exploration and 15 kilometres for snowshoeing adventures. Whether you're just beginning or are a veteran to the sport, there is a trail for you. The Lost Lake trails are operated by the Resort Municipality of Whistler in conjunction with Cross Country Connection and are groomed daily for both classic and skate techniques". Rentals and Lessons are available on site as well as a café with scrumptious snacks. There is also a quaint wood hut perched by the lake to warm up in and bring a picnic. The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is Whistler’s local government led by an elected council and administered by an executive team and staff on behalf of 10,447 residents and 2.7 million annual visitors. The RMOW manages municipal planning and development, park and Village operations, sports facilities and recreation, public utilities and environmental services, bylaws and enforcement, fire rescue, fiscal planning and financial services, legislative services, human resources, communications and the administration of the Whistler2020 Comprehensive Sustainability Plan and Whistler’s Official Community Plan. The RMOW collaborates with in-resort and external partners to create visitor experiences and enrich community life.
